So I get Boston's Election Department on the phone, and I ask what the deal is with the city running out of ballots. "Right now, I have no idea," the woman on the other end replies. "Everyone's running around checking in voters." (City Hall's the polling place for Ward 3, Precinct 6, you see.) So...do you guys still have ballots there? "You know, I'm just a helper here, honey. I have no idea."
