Doctor Evil

Is it just me, or is there something unusually loathesome about Bill Frist?

Back in 2004, Frist's RNC speech practically made me lose my lunch. And now word comes that Frist wants to hold a Senate vote on a federal gay-marriage ban "as early as possible," probably in June.

What a jerk. Please, somebody tell me he'll never be president.

He'll never be President, Adam. He's less personable than Allen (a moron, but Bush-esque in that manner), less conservative than Brownback (yes, I said less), and unappealing to the truth talkers who will gravitate to McCain, even though they should gravitate to Chuck Hagel.

Ben, thanks for the reassurance. For what it's worth, I saw Allen in action up in New Hampshire a while back, and I found him likable despite myself.
