State House, Thursday, 1 p.m.

Be there or be square!

Up in the governor's office, we'll have people pissed about Mitt Romney's push to have state police crack down on illegal immigrants delivering a letter to the Barnstormin' Mormon himself.

Down on the front steps of the State House, meanwhile, it'll be LG/would-be G Kerry Healey holding a press conference "with concerned parents" to decry the Legislature's eminently sensible proposal to decriminalize needle possession. There's no data suggesting that making syringes legal leads to more needles sticks, but my money says that won't keep Healey & Co. from playing the fear card.

Personally, I can't wait.

It's Good to Know that our Governor and Lt. Governor have their priorities straight. Like all MA residence, I am tired of seeing these illegal immigrants everywhere I go. And I can't tell you how many times my house has been broken in to by them.

And thank God for Kerry Heally. If my 12 year old sees a syringe in CVS, well the monkey will have already started its dreaded climb up her back. Then marijuana won't be far behind. We can't have this!
