Happy Birthday to George

President George W. Bush has a birthday coming up, and it's a biggie: he's about to turn sixty!

The Republican National Committee is soliciting messages for its e-card to the president. But since a fair number of Talking Politics readers might harbor sentiments that wouldn't make the cut, I'm offering this space as an alternate forum for sending birthday greetings to W.

Have at it, people. And happy early 4th of July.

Congratulations on staying young while accomplishing such monumental feats.

You ride your bike more often than most six year olds.

You think through the consequences of your actions like a sixteen year old.

And you've created a mess that will take another sixty years to clean up.
