No surprise, this, but the governor just vetoed the legislature's syringe-legalization bill.

Expect a quick override.

healey might be more of a check on the legislature if her positions weren't so ridiculous as to make the legislature overwhelmingly reject them! Honestly, it's not as if the MA legislature is way to the left of center--episodes like this say far more about how far to the right Romney and Healey are, and how craven Romney is in seeking South Carolina primary votes.
