New in The Phoenix: Clinton & Obama

In this week's issue I watch Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama on their first campaign visits to New Hampshire and wonder, will their rock-star schedules leave them enough time to shmooze the Democratic "influencers" in the state?

Check it out: "Rocky Stars: Clinton, Obama, and the people who really make or break Presidential dreams in the Granite State"

I'm glad all the hoopla surrounding the celeb candidates may leave an opening for a legitmate candidate with more on their resume than a few glam years in the Senate. I am hoping Bill Richardson delivers.

I especially liked your description of the faithful cheering Obama's success on death penalty legislation, without realizing he is in favor of capital punishment and that his 'success' ended the moratorium.

It reminded me of Mayor Joe Quimby's line: "Look at them, they're like trained seals... Toss them a fish and watch them clap their fins... "
