What's Worse Than "Joe-mentum"?

Barely an hour after I posted about a possible Joe Biden surge scenario, I received the latest press email from the Biden campaign, boasting that Biden is "gaining steam" in Iowa.

It goes on to say that: "Over the next week, Mo-Joe '08 will sweep across Iowa."

Turns out, he's been using the phrase "Mo-Joe" for the past week or so. I apparently had blocked it out.

I would mock him for it, but anyone who cribs from the '04 Lieberman campaign is really at the self-mockery phase, don't you think?

With Biden, you get a corny politician who sticks his foot in his mouth regularly. BUT you also get BY FAR the most knowledgeable and clearheaded student of foreign policy running for president this year.

Biden was probably a guest on Meet the Press more than a dozen times since 9/11. He always gives intelligent, non-canned answers. Sure he rambles on a little too long. But his flaws are greatly outweighed by his strengths.

In Hillary Clinton you are voting for the Clinton Brand -- but we can do better than that. Lets vote for a real person, not a last name.

In Obama, you are voting for a guy who was a State Rep only three years ago!! Think of some of the State Reps roaming Beacon Hill. Could you foresee them leading the free world three years from now? Didn't think so.

So that's why I am voting for Joe Biden. And donating $75 to his campaign.
