has arrived in the mail!!! it's at moonsigns.net, along with the 2010 Moon Almanac. Really great stuff in both. Makes a SWELL Xmas present. And Mr. Dai is a genius mailer/packer (hyped2death.com). He's like the Christo of cardboard in terms of making packages of any size freestyle. Full moon this weekend. Everyone I've talked to in last 2 days has been on the edge.

Other lives happening here. Am at Rollstone Studios, Fitchburg, MA tomorrow doing my hours as a studio artist. The new moon today was a welcome bit of news. But I've dealt with some really difficult folks in past several days (it's blowback from also having a career in public service). But I ask myself. With natal Mars in Cancer, and transiting Mars in Cancer maybe I'm just more likely to be ANNOYED! Yes, and yes, those people were a pa-yane.

A void-of-course Gemini moon (today) plus Merc. rx, plus approaching conjunction w/moon and Mars in Cancer makes for....electricity? Had a super time at Roots Natural Foods today doing a 12-person tarot reading. I didn't want to have any clients since it's their annual customer appreciation day and Marieke always puts on an amazing feast, plus there are vendors in every aisle w/samples so what could Symboline do? Set up next to the loading dock w/chairs, a scarf, my cards and a really sweet woman who held my daughter.

Dear Symboline, I have Cancer in my Venus - does have Mars in Cancer mean my love life will ramp up?, Thanks! Jodi Dear Jodi Anytime Venus gets into alignment with natal Venus or Mars or Mars does ditto, figure you'll be putting out the "come hither" vibes more than you think. Cancer in Venus makes for great delight in domestic bliss and interests and an attractive partner is one who will appreciate and be turned on by your sensuous nature creating a cozy environment which can definitely include cooking (heavy on the baking, as Cancer rules bakers).

infant daughter on my lap so this is brief. She has found junk mail and has origami'd it into something more interesting to chew on. I'm at Roots in Leominster (rootsnaturalfoods.com) this Saturday around noon to do a free Tarot demo. and then probably have some clients. With no infant daughter on lap at the time....

calls aren't returned, chunks of email one anticipates don't arrive, normal activities suddenly produce a huge mess although I guess I was asking for it making sand candles w/the 6 year old. Haven't done that since 1972, and used all my mom's stubs from Ice Storm 08 (literally, a grocery bag full -- she was out of power for 10 days; us for 12.

oh who am I kidding....Doesn't launch until Sept. 7 but I take a very dim view of this little cinderball of mayhem. That's why I finally got a Facebook page for Symboline stuff. I hear all the kids are doing this and figured it's another online shingle. I'm off to do Tarot readings at Roots right now. Also, I'm teaching at Cambridge Center, "Introduction to Astrology" on Sept.

Today it's sunny. Hail later. This is a month with an eclipse plus a CRAP angle between Mars and Jupiter this week. No easy way outs! No prisoners taken! I have been musing lately about how, if you look at prehistory, astrology was THE only science. Math, biology, health and medicine, psychology, the works. What's interesting is that, of my astrological tarot reading clients (I read at Roots Natural Foods in Leominster once a month or so), at least half are from the medical profession.
