The 12,000-acre preserve includes Saddleback Mountain and Saddleback Lake. Glades and other “free” sking opportunities challenge experts, but plenty of terrain is groomed and smooth for beginner and intermediate skiiers. Backcountry cross-country trails available at no charge. Season begins Dec 15.
