For those who venture to Freeport during the summer months, the FREEPORT SEAFOOD COMPANY located at 175 Lower Main Street is expected to open mid-June. Open for lunch and dinner service, the restaurant features seafood, pub fare and drinks inside or on the large outdoor patio.

And finally, for those who live, vacation, summer, or rent homes on one of the Casco Bay islands, Rosemont Market and Bakery now delivers. Dan Roche, manager of the Yarmouth Rosemont, says island deliveries started a few weeks ago. Customers can order by email (islanddelivery@rosemontmarket.com) or phone (207.846.1234) before 10 am and will be aboard an the afternoon ferry. The service runs Monday through Friday and there is a $10 delivery fee. "The most important thing is you can get the same products available at Rosemont without leaving the island," Roche says. "Shop from the comfort of your home."

And then go out and enjoy the summer!
