Review: Federal Hill Pizza

But most appreciated was the pasta — fettuccine with grilled chicken and mushroom in a garlic cream sauce ($12.99). An enormous platter that could feed four, we hardly put a dent in it as we savored the delicate flavor — not overly garlicky — and loads of chicken. We were well pleased.

The three desserts are each $5.99. The cannoli was familiar enough, but we had to ask about the coco pane and boco pane. Despite being similarly named, they are quite different, the first being a fried doughboy with Nutella and the latter, fried balls drizzled with balsamic reduction.

But no. We were looking forward to that pizza steaming under our anticipating gaze in the take-away box. The moment of anticipation was sweet enough.
