Bastille Day celebrations

July 14, 2006
By TAMARA WIEDER  |  July 11, 2006
You’re over that whole hating the French thing, right? Good, because several local restaurants are throwing Bastille Day celebrations that are too good to miss. On July 14, from 11 am to 2 pm, head to Brasserie Jo (Colonnade Hotel, 120 Huntington Avenue, Boston, 617.425.3240) for free crêpes at their sidewalk crêpery, or $17.89 (get it?) lunch and dinner entrées from 11 am to 2:30 pm and 5 to 11 pm. Or pay a visit to Sel de la Terre (255 State Street, Boston, 617.720.1300) from 5 to 10 pm for their $48 prix-fixe Bastille Day menu, accompanied by live accordion music. And over at Pigalle (65 Charles Street South, Boston, 617.423.4944), you’ll find a three-course, $50 Bastille Day menu, plus music from Micaela. Vive la France … and bon appétit!
