Jazz up an ordinary dinner at Upstairs on the Square (91 Winthrop Street, Boston) on March 20. That’s when the restaurant morphs into a jazz club, with music from local band Gypsy Schaeffer, mood lighting, special cocktails, and a menu of dishes like trio of tartares, beef short ribs braised in Champagne vinegar, and sautéed monkfish.
