Cabin fever

Bending to societal demands
By JANICE CHECCIO  |  February 21, 2007

‘The finest clothing made is a person’s skin, but, of course, society demands something more than this.’ - Mark Twain

These days, it’s tempting to skip class or work, turn the heat up to 85 degrees, and throw your own beach party with that bag of sand your landlord forgot to hide. But that could get pretty messy. So how about stealing a little warmth from the bar down the street? With everything from popcorn to beer to music, you won’t even notice the freezing weather outside. And after taking in all that alcohol, it’ll be easier to come up with a little something special to keep you warm once you’re back home.
