Could be verse: poetry ripped from the headlines
By JAMES PARKER  |  September 26, 2007

Lines upon reading about the Bosnian man who began an adulterous affair in an Internet chat room, only to discover that the woman to whom he was chatting was his own wife

because we were so annoyed.
Skronk of the modem at daylight’s ebb,
burning dust in the void —

as virtual maiden and swain.
But now that I find it was merely spousal,
I think I must leave you again.
