The Art of LARP
For the uninitiated, the word "LARP" conjures burly beardos hitting each other with foam swords in the woods and corseted women in capes flouncing around hotel ballrooms, all for entirely inexplicable reasons.
Everybody gets a bike
After a five-year reign as Boston's first unofficial "Bike Czar," Boston Bikes director Nicole Freedman will be abdicating her throne to direct Maine's Huts and Trails program.
Two-Wheeled Justice
Bike lawyer Josh Zisson started printing up pocket-size "Bicyclist's Accident Report" cards last October in Cambridge.
The Pedi Cure
Before this assignment, I had never even considered riding in pedicab, even though I work in the pedicab mecca of Kenmore Square. I always thought there was something extremely icky about making someone sweat while I sit there like a pasha.
A celebration of ostentatious bikes, in verse
Some people are just too goddamn special to ride a two-wheeler.

Down with the memes
There's a jovial shit-mouthed wise-ass standing in an outdoor foyer at MIT, chain-smoking Newports and hitting on every girl who walks by.
The revolution will not be televised — but it will be turned into an animated .gif
Zawinski's law of software envelopment holds that all programs continue to expand until they can read email.
He’s not there to make friends
I'm not here to make friends. This pithy phrase tidily encapsulates all the bluster, the stiltedness, the underwhelming drama and overinflated breasts of reality TV.
