Heather Caston
Heather Caston, songwriter and Maine Songwriters’ Association show organizer, weighs in on the Samples' "My Guitar" and Slaid Cleaves' "Devil's Lullaby."

“My Guitar” by the Samples
“Great intro . . . kinda Phishy, but not bad Phishy. Great mix, harmonies. . . . Makes me want to hear more for sure! Oh yeah, cool banjo break . . . I’m sure it’s a great sing-a-long at a live show.”

“Devil’s Lullaby” by Slaid Cleaves
“I love this rockabilly/folk sound! . . . Songwriting, beatuiful vocal . . . what a songwriter this guy is. I only wish he’d put a build in there somewhere.”
