Famed documentary filmmaker Ken Burns recently interviewed Wayne for an upcoming, eight-part series on the Vietnam War, scheduled for release in 2016. We look forward to seeing this film that Burns describes as "by far the largest work I've ever done."

At the top of Casa Diablo's entertainment itinerary this week is the Schemers/Sarah Lupo & Her Band show at the Met March 30.

The Mark Cutler-led Schemers, of course, are one of the best bands ever to come out of the Biggest Little. Always crisp and ready to rock.

Sarah Lupo's CD release party a few months back featured a crack band (with the legendary Mark Taber) and a bunch of fine new songs composed by Ms. Sarah. If you like the old time rock n' roll, this is a show you'll not want to miss. The show will be taped for a segment on Jorge's nascent RI-PBS music television program Meet Me at the Met. It will be a night to remember.

Rhode Island’s newly-christened Speaker of the House, Rep. Nicholas Mattiello (D-Cranston), makes Phillipe and Jorge think of someone who, if you went mountain climbing with him and if you started to fall, would be sawing with a knife furiously at the safety line connecting you in case you might take him down with you.
