Well-designed thanks
First I would like to thank you for the incredible write-up in the paper that you did (see "Jen Miller Showcases Her Hand-Sewn Wares," by Deirdre Fulton, June 20). Wow, everyone really enjoyed it. You saw my passion for fashion and helped me to create my dream. So thank you from the bottom of my heart.
Second, I hope you enjoyed the show; man, it was a lot of work but I truly felt it couldn’t have gone any better. My ladies rocked the runway, Country Rhodes and the Fuge really did an outstanding job with commentary, and my stand-by-go-to guy Johnny Lomba dealt with everything from the fire department arriving two hours before the show to arranging the lights just right.
The St. Lawrence church said they would be more than willing to have me back for another show anytime. It was truly just a fantastic crew of people to work with. You were part of that crew of helping me to get this all together and put on the best show I could. So thank you again for giving me the opportunity to spread my wings and fly.

You are right on with the "baby mama" column (see "Baby Mama Drama," by Shay Stewart-Bouley, June 27). We are a sadly bigoted and racist nation. I fear the outcome of this election.
