Your job this week, punk, is to put all 13 chains of numbers below into the grid so that, as with normal Sudoku, every row, column, and 3-x-3 box contains the numbers 1–9 exactly one time. These chains will run through the paths demarcated by heavy black lines; the chains can’t cross these lines at any time. The numbers may run forward or backward through the grid; so if you’re given a chain like 142683, it may run that way, or it may run 386241. Keep in mind: the square in the center of the grid is walled off and not part of any chain; that one you’ll need to figure out on your own. Also, the chains will overlap on their first and last numbers: if one chain were 857643, the next chain it connects to may be 36791, the 3 at the end of one chain being the same 3 that begins the next one. The 3-x-3 boxes are shaded for clarity’s sake, and the chains are listed below in numerical order, not in the order they go in the grid. All right, git t’ werk!
