Kaidoku is what you’d get if a Sudoku and a crossword made sweet puzzle love and produced offspring. In this puzzle, each of the 26 letters of the alphabet is represented by a number between 1 and 26. Using letter frequency and patterns in words, you’ve gotta figure out which letter is represented by which number, and then fill in the whole grid. If you need a starting hint, there’s one at the end of these instructions. Note: only un-capitalized, un-hyphenated words are allowed, so you won’t see anything like “Stockholm” or “long-lost” in here. All righty, junior, get to solvin’! (OPTIONAL STARTING HINT: the twenty-first letter of the alphabet is represented in this grid by the number you get when you multiply five and six, then subtract twenty-eight).
