Metal Man | Most lists of this type would give a spot to Dr. Wiley, that indefatigable mad scientist who built countless robots with interchangeable arms with the goal of humiliating Dr. Light and destroying Mega Man in a fit of jealous rage. But that’s not us. We think Metal Man, one of the most easily defeated bosses in the second game is more deserving. Why? Because the Metal Blades you receive upon defeating him are far and away the most useful weapon Mega Man can be equipped with in the entirety of the franchise. He can shoot them in eight directions; they’ll take out most common foes in one blast; and they don’t require a lot of energy to shoot.
