In this Sudoku, some squares have a number with a + or - symbol. This number is the differential between the digit in that square and the digit immediately above, below, left, or right of it. If a square has a +2, and the digit that goes in that square is a 5, then one of the immediately neighboring squares will contain a 7. If a square has a -3, and that square contains a 9, a neighboring square will have a 6. When you’re done, each row, column, and 3-x-3 box will contain the numbers 1–9 exactly one time.
