Henry Wolyniec's three pieces are perhaps the most purely abstract of the whole show, in that they suggest nothing except themselves. Abstraction, as a method, has been at the heart of the modernist idea since Malevich, and virtually everything made since then (including the soup can) is informed by this self-referential understanding. Wolyniec's work just sits there, being itself, and that is way more than enough.
