Coleman Burke is a big, open room in an old mill, which has its share of structural distractions such as its bright red sprinkler pipes. These pieces demand close attention, and looking hard spills over into the details of the space, like the ambient noises at a John Cage performance. Separating the ideas from the environment present special challenges for the visitor.
