If you've ever bought beer online, you know it's pricey to get it to your door (beer is, you know, heavy)., a self-described "social wine site" based in Seattle, also stocks craft beers, in 22-ounce bombers, mostly from the Northwest, and much of what they sell isn't available anywhere in the Northeast (they also have Port Brewing, Lost Abbey, Great Divide, and other stuff you can get in Massachusetts).

Current offerings include big beers from Ninkasi (Tricerahops Double IPA, Believer Double IPA), Elysian (the Immortal IPA, Avatar Jasmine IPA), Hopworks Urban Brewery, and Deschutes (the highly-rated Hop Henge Experimental IPA) — and beers from Russian River show up every now and then (Sanctification went fast last week). There are also themed sampler six-packs (Imperial IPA, Northwest Stouts). It's a limited selection and the prices tend to run a $1 or $2 higher than at other beer sites (Liquid Gratitude, Bottle Trek, BevMo!), but here's the best part: shipping is free with any six beers; buy $12, and it's free shipping and $10 off (shipping at other sites can run up to $35 for six bombers). And there's a daily Spin the Bottle deal, with discounts from $5 to $500 (good luck with the latter; I've scored $5 and $10 rewards).

So do the math: free shipping + no tax - discount coupon = six bombers of top-shelf can't get-'em-'round-here beer for less than $6-8 a bottle. Cheers!
