First-Year Seminar: Going to Pot

If you're using it, you may as well learn a thing or two about it. Topics include cannabis biology, marijuana use in Maine, medical marijuana, and horticultural tips. From novels to academic readings to memoirs to how-to books, this course provides a diverse overview for the seminar student. Please note: Students are required to attend a field trip for hands-on experience and anthropological observation — the Harvest Ball Rally for Marijuana Liberation, October 5-7, at Harry Brown's Farm in Starks, Maine.
