Just as predictable and appetizing as Jason Biggs's penis in a pie, the newest addition to the raunchy American Pie franchise comes to audiences half-baked by Jon Hurwitz and Hayden Schlossberg. The gang's all here for their 13th High School Reunion, complete with awkward parental conversations and precarious sexual misadventures. Except that with everyone now in their 30s, it's a little less endearing and a little more pathetic. There are still a few laughs that don't involve naked women or bodily fluids, but those two topics rule this Midwestern landscape. Too many characters pop up as a never-before-mentioned best friend or girl next door. A few clever notions on the problem of middle-aged dating are handled by pros Eugene Levy and Jennifer Coolidge. Otherwise, it dips into Meet the Fockers material like Biggs into a baked good.
