I READ A RECENT EMAIL WHERE YOU ADMITTED TO STAGE/RADIO INTERVIEW FRIGHT? I FIND THAT HARD TO BELIEVE GIVEN YOUR CONFIDENT, SULTRY STAGE PRESENCE WITH ROUTE .44. DO YOU FEEL ANY ADDED PRESSURE WITH CHANTEUSE AS OPPOSED TO THE ROUTE .44 DAYS? With Route .44 I was one of eight or more instruments and I could, to a certain extent, blend in. The pressure I feel now with Chanteuse is something I've never felt with Route .44. I didn't put myself out there the way I am now — the songs I'm singing are mine, in terms of lyrics. But not only am I working to develop my own sound, I'm also working to produce an entire show.
