There's off-the-beaten path action on FRIDAY (the 4th) when GARY "GUITAR" GRAMOLINI & THE GRINDERS visit Dan's in West Greenwich (401.392.3092); and for our South Coasters, hoist a few at the Pour Farm with THE BLOOD MOONS (which just released a split 12" with 75orLess Records labelmates Six Star General), call 508.990.1123. Also on Friday, the Apartment (401.228.7222) hosts a nice lineup with the excellent ALLYSEN CALLERY appearing with FALL & BOUNCE. Non-stop hip-hop on SATURDAY (the 5th) starts with SAGE FRANCIS returning home following a lengthy overseas tour, along with Metermaids and Prolyphic warming it up; call 401.729.1005 for ticket availability. Looking ahead to TUESDAY (the 8th), get to the Met early to check out PVD monster-rock newcomers KNIFE PARTY opening up for Torche, while Firehouse 13 (401.270.1801) hosts THE FABULOUS ITCHIES.
