"We get considered a dance band," says Sorbara, "but I'm not interested in being just that, because that's all there is on the radio, it's all dark and about getting fucked up, and I can't even relate to it. This record was a conscious effort to not step into the darkness — the songs are fun, we wanted to make light fun daytime songs because we get so sick of the darkness."
