"Alan is an incredibly gifted musician and songwriter. He is a longtime friend and all-around nice guy, and his new band is pretty fucking awesome — high-energy and totally badass!" opined Raskin via email.

Hague sounds confident about the possibilities of this new musical venture, and certainly hungry for more. He said ATD will record a new 7" over the next few months as a warm-up for a full-length, as well as a three-week tour planned for spring 2013.

"There are so many ideas kicking around in this band that I think we're all itching to get to it," he said.

"We have no plans to slow down."
