Weighing in on songs by Loverless and the Moss Mountain Project
By SOUNDOFF | September 6, 2006
LAUREN WAYNE, who is so involved in booking acts and other aspects of the local music scene that she pretty much needs no title, weighs in on a song from LOVERLESS’ new album and one from MOSS MOUNTAIN PROJECT.“How to Undress in Front of Your Husband” by Loverless
“This is good fucking rock and roll. As in you can fuck to it or you can drink a lot of Jack Daniel's and burn your house down.”
“Sandtrap” by Moss Mountain Project
“This song is great . . . sounds like Calexico on acid and now we’re all fucked up playing empty oil barrels in the desert. Or something like that. I really like these guys.”
