LOOPIN’, the world-music super group led by SHAMOU, has returned to playing out and intends to record a new album for release before the end of 2008. Shamou is joined by jazz guitarist GARY WITTNER, multi-instrumentalist and composer BARB TRUEX, bassist ANDY CHIPMAN, and longtime INANNA percussionist ANNEGRET BAIER.
Singer/songwriter BOB MCKILLOP will release a six-song EP, Portland Afternoon, with an April 19 party at the North Star Cafe.
