As for breaking big in the current wave of synth-driven electro-rock, Boggia isn’t too concerned.
“I don’t know how hard it is to ‘break’ from the Providence scene,” Boggia noted. “I think all it takes is booking shows out of town.” Mission accomplished, as the duo just scored a two-week opening slot for seminal quartet Chinese Stars (ex-Arab on Radar and Six Finger Satellite), kicking off October 5 in Detroit and wrapping up in La Jolla, California on October 17.
“Having fun is the one thing that is under our control, so we focus on that.”
And where did they get the name?
“We wanted to be like the Righteous Brothers, but more awesome.”
