Airman punk

By SAM PFEIFLE  |  December 2, 2009

WHEN DO YOU GET HOME? I KNOW YOU STILL WORK WITH JODI EXPLODI, SOMEHOW MANAGING TO DO PR FOR THEM FROM ACROSS THE WORLD. WILL YOU STAY WITH MUSIC? WHAT ARE YOUR PLANS FOR BOTH YOUR MILITARY AND MUSICAL CAREERS? CAN THEY DOVETAIL? It was a six-month tour. [He has returned and is now on leave.] I do still try and manage Jodi Explodi from afar, and as far as I am concerned (and I am pretty sure as far as they are concerned) I am still in the band. When I come home I play shows with them, just as third guitar instead of bass (Mikey P is the shit and I would never step on his toes). I do plan on trying to find a band to play with when I get to England. I am pretty sure I'm getting out after this enlistment is over. If I do, I think that playing music will always be a part of my life, but it will be for fun. It will fill my spare time and not my desire to achieve fame and fortune.

However, if that somehow happens I won't complain.

Three albums in, Crunk Witch are now far more than novelty. The all-digital, husband-wife duo of Brandon Miles and Hannah Collen have created enough material at this point to establish a clear method behind what can sometimes seem like madness.
