Shout it out!

"Sound Session was both amazing and frightening. The 'Gansett guys have been so great to us, but that night I think they were trying to kill us. We had all seven of us on the flatbed singing along, with the 'Gansett Girls and [Narraganseett Beer mascot] Clammie the Clam. Early on the truck stopped suddenly and Michael fell right into James and knocked the drums over. The entire parade route I felt like I was surfing and playing guitar at the same time, smashing my teeth into the mic every time we hit a pothole."

Lambert's Sharks intend to win over the crowd when they make their Blackstone debut next week.

"Expect fun, community, and celebration at a Sharks Come Cruisin' show," Lambert told me. "We strongly recommend shouting along — that's why we bring the cue cards.

"Who wants to go to a show where you can't sing along? Not me."
