Blackshaw's good vibrations

There's that hippie talk again! Granted, it sounds refreshingly earnest (enlightening, even) coming from Blackshaw. And if his words fail to convey the magic of his music, the sound most certainly succeeds. "A lot of music is designed to throw the listener off, to be non-intuitive. It has its place, sure, but I like to be mesmerized by music, to switch off and stop thinking, so that it becomes an experience. Do you know what I mean?"
