Straight outta Tallahassee

Campol is a DIY madman and one helluva show host, as he demonstrated at AS220. Campol was all smiles before taking the stage last Monday night to three-dozen or so attendees. "My ex-girlfriend is here with her new boyfriend, this should be a fucking great show," he told me with a sincere, sarcasm-batting grin. "Hey man, you see this smile? I am the eternal optimist. This is gonna be good, trust me." The 40-minute set was damn impressive, with Campol wearing his heart on his sweaty sleeve — that is until the shirt came off.

"This is a special moment, this marks the first time the entire tour that Kyle has taken his shirt off," Carerra announced. Campol then kicked into the riff from "The Skies Are Clear Beyond Tallahassee" and tore the house down.

"This is how I survive, this is what I do for work," Campol told his wee-hours alliance. "If you enjoyed yourself, please buy an album or shirt and support our music. Thanks."
