May Phillipe and Jorge suggest that on future NBC news broadcasts featuring the unctuous Mr. Williams, they devote the same amount of time they gave Brian's daddy to shots of the caskets being unloaded at Dover, while they crawl the photos and names of these modern-day unknown soldiers across the bottom of the screen.
YUMMY, YUMMY, RETCH
P+J were a bit taken aback to hear Kellogg's use of the Ohio Express' "Yummy Yummy Yummy" to push some of their breakfast cereals — though we should have known better after watching Springsteen's "Born In the USA" appropriated by countless yahoo pols who never bothered to listen to the lyrics.
P+J always viewed "Yummy" as an allusion to pregnancy and, given the teenybopper target audience of the original, one intended to quell the fears of teenage mothers-to-be.
May we suggest to Kellogg's that they employ unwed mom Bristol Palin as their spokesmodel, as she certainly has great credibility in the field, given how well she followed Momma Sarah's advice about abstinence.
(Related C-list celebrity item: Bristol's baby Daddy, Levi Johnston, the foulmouthed snowmobiler, has now announced his intention to run for mayor of Wasilla, Alaska, his hometown and that of the nitwit Palins. Is there another municipality on Earth besides Wasilla where everyone is a village idiot?)
