Rapture, ruptured

By SHAY STEWART-BOULEY  |  May 25, 2011

Leading up to last weekend, many Christians have been laughing at Camping and gang, too, and perhaps shouldn't have been, as many families were broken and lives ruined because some people put too much faith in the words of one person and one narrow-minded cause. It's something we see in politics, too, and social movements. It's not just about religion.

We all have beliefs in our own personal "Raptures;" it's just a matter of how deeply we commit ourselves to them, or perhaps how much some of us need to be committed because of those beliefs.
