AS A DEEJAY, HOW DO YOU FEEL ABOUT THE STATE OF NIGHTLIFE IN PROVIDENCE? The city’s on a good trajectory, but we non-top 40 DJs need to keep pushing people to the left.
WHAT HAVE YOU BEEN LISTENING TO LATELY? Hot Chip side project Grovesnor, the Basement Jaxx remix of “Cold Shoulder” by Adele, and the brilliant new album by Minnesota’s Cloud Cult.
FAVORITE THING ABOUT RHODE ISLAND? You can’t throw a stone here without hitting an artist.
LEAST FAVORITE THING ABOUT RHODE ISLAND? The drivers.
THE THREE THINGS THAT WOULD MAKE LIFE BETTER HERE? 1) Staggered closing times for bars and clubs; 2) more mid-sized performance spaces; and 3) more intro-level jobs in Providence.
