Cheap jokes R us

By PHILLIPE AND JORGE  |  April 8, 2009

There is at least the merit of the ancillary businesses that exists in the world of authentic casinos. That would be entertainment, food, and beverage service businesses, jobs for waitstaff and bartenders, and those who work on stage crews.

So if the Biggest Little is going to be in the gambling business, then we should summon a tiny bit of self-respect, stop the hypocrisy — no more claiming you're "against gambling" unless you really are and vote against all aspects of it on every issue, on every vote — and approve a casino.

It all sucks, but the P&J casino gambling initiative is far more palatable than the stupidity we have now. \
