AMERICAN HORROR STORY | FX | October 5 @ 10 pm | FX was responsible for Terriers, one of the best hour-long dramas of 2010. Unfortunately, nobody watched it, and it was cancelled after one season. The network hopes to have better luck with American Horror Story, which follows a couple living in a haunted house in the Bay Area. It's from Ryan Murphy, the creator of Nip/Tuck and Glee, so expect it to grab a lot of attention early and then swiftly devolve in year two. That said, the presence of Connie Britton, fresh off an amazing run on Friday Night Lights, can cause us to forgive a lot.
