Sci-fi, fantasy, and Sony's new handheld
By MITCH KRPATA | December 27, 2011
After a loaded holiday season, it's only natural that game publishers are taking a breather to start the new year. Despite a quiet January, this winter gives gamers much to look forward to: long-awaited sequels, promising original franchises, and even a new handheld system.
The year's strangest title may be one of its first, when GOTHAM CITY IMPOSTORS becomes available for download on Xbox Live Arcade, PlayStation Network, and PC, on January 10. It's a first-person shooter featuring teams of ersatz Batmen and Jokers trying to blow each other's brains out. Misguided, perhaps, but it's developed by Monolith, a studio with a good track record.
