Dragovic was charged with suspicion of misdemeanor battery. UCLA spokesmen have been pretty consistent so far in taking the “we don’t have all the facts yet” approach to the problem. He’s a minor player, so this one could go either way — they could jump on him with both feet or let it slide. I’m betting it will slide.
Still, the minimum 50 domestic-violence points on this one.
Not a good idea
Punching a police officer in the face, that is.
So found out University of Maryland linebacker Nick Costa, who has been suspended indefinitely after he got drunk and out of control recently at a Cornerstone Grill & Loft in College Park, Maryland.
It seems that a policeman came over to Costa’s table to tell him and two other men that the bar was closed and they had to leave. Costa disagreed and punched the officer in the face. So much for your shot at the NFL, genius.
Costa has been charged with one count of first-degree assault (a felony) and two counts of second-degree assault. Sixty points here — something tells me he won’t be on the field again anytime soon.
