Doom, doom. Grind, grind. Joe
Not Common got at us too late for the print edition, but big ups to him for putting together this weekend's two-day (Sat-Sun.) Doom + Grind Fest at the Middle East downstairs. Description? Well, we're pretty sure there's gonna be some doom. And not to go out on a limb, there may also be some grind. Put it this way: a smart entrepreneur could make a few bucks this weekend by printing up "Ozzfest is gay" t-shirts. Since we missed "stroke victim" (cough, cough)
Seth Putnam's surprise return in June, we're hoping -- and betting -- that
our old pal finds his way onstage with Adolf Satan, or at least into the audience for Grief. With or without a walker. This is one of those fests where cripples won't be at a disadvantage: everyone's gonna be in wheelchairs or worse by the end.
