Not these ones, either.Whatever you do, don't call them the
Wyrd Sisters: there's
lawsuits involved and
whatnot. But whatever it is we're calling that band from
the upcoming Harry Potter flick -- that'd be the group featuring Jarvis Cocker and two Radioheads -- well, they've been leaked just in time for Halloween. The song, "This Is the Night," is one of those kinda post-punky UK dance-rockish things, which reinforces reports that Franz Ferdinand turned down the role of J.K. Rowling's "Weird Sisters" (a spelling later changed by Warner Bros script doctors, to the chagrin of a litigious Canadian folk group.) Lawyers chased the leaked song off at least a half-dozen blogs yesterday, and maybe they'll do the same thing tomorrow. But so far they haven't hit
this one. (Them lawyers are slacking. Next thing you know, kids'll just be calling themselves, like, "Harry and the fucking Potters" and getting away with it.)
