Loving the fact that the Relapse Contamination Tour -- the toughest metal show this side of Mastodon/Converge -- is kicking off in Boston . . . at O'Briens. This is what happens when what used to be called "Underground Metal" moves on up to Ozzfest and MTV2: the new underground metal has to start all over again at the bottom. Do not let the room deter you: Unearthly Trance are fucking ungodly.

Meanwhile, anyone who reads this blog should know who Bang Camaro are and what they do. The scary thing: the poseurs are already jumping on the bandwagon. No matter. We can't name a local band since Waltham (back when Waltham were really Waltham) that's come out with this kind of ridiculous buzz: two months into their existence, their third gig ever is a headlining show downstairs at the Middle East.
