Everything you can possibly say is wrong with Ozzfest? It is. And it's probably worse than you think. Then again, y'know, Mastodon is playing. Black Sabbath could, conceivably, suck -- just like, theoretically, Gibson could stop manufacturing guitars tomorrow and go into the tutu business. We're pretty sure this isn't cool, but OTD's class-of-'88 thrash batteries seem to get revved up every time the new As I Lay Dying album comes on. And go ahead, hate on Killswitch Engage and Trivium if it'll make you feel all butch and Rob Halford about yourself. If this is what mall metal sounds like now, then build some fucking more malls.
